That is an incredible power you hold with your voice. You are the sun animating life. Have you stopped to contemplate what you give life to? Vulnerability, openness, excitement, confusion, love, courage, emotional intimacy, laughter combined with healthy boundaries, safety and discernment, free us, heal us, make our dreams and visions real, when we expressed them. That is the power of our voice.

Your fire-sound also lands differently in the ear of the witness. The animating quality of your words when they come from your core not only allows you to be the creator of your reality but stokes the listener’s fire, stirs their insides, and inspires them to soften, to notice, to feel, and to express as well. Words of intimacy are freeing for both of you. And sometimes the most creative sound is the silence between your words, the sweet break between contractions, the long pause that opens up possibilities, where the unknown can be known, where the art of becoming unfolds.

Like don Miguel Ruiz says: be impeccable with your words. So today, I invite you to pause and contemplate how you self-express because you hold so much power every time you do. Every time you speak you are at a choice point. You have the choice to let habits, fakeness, and tradition replay themselves or to be real, and free the light that springs from inside you.

How will you talk to yourself in your mind? Will you be kind, or judgemental? Loving or impatient? When in conversation with someone, will you speak the old or will you transform your world by putting voice to your emergent essence, stir the pot, change things? Will you be the magician-creator 🦄 or the status-quo keeper? How will you choose moment to moment?

It's your choice.
